850 Roasters (“we,” “us”) runs 850roasters.com. This policy explains what information the site collects, how we use it and who it's shared with.

The short version

• The site doesn't sell anything directly and has no accounts. Purchases are made on wellspringcomponents.com.
• We use Google Analytics to see how people use the site.
• If you send a wholesale inquiry, we use what you send to reply to you.
• We don't sell your information.

Wholesale inquiries

The wholesale inquiry form asks for your name and email address. You can also include your business name, phone number, the coffees you're interested in, your estimated monthly volume and a message. We use this information to answer your inquiry and, if you become a wholesale customer, to work with you on orders.

Submissions are processed by a form service run by our website developer on Cloudflare. The service may run a submission through an automated spam filter, then emails the inquiry to us through Postmark, an email delivery service. The form service keeps a copy of each submission for up to 90 days so delivery problems can be traced, then deletes it. The email we receive is kept like any other business correspondence.

Spam protection

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people apart from automated spam. Turnstile loads when you reach the form and checks technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address and browser type. Cloudflare says it uses these signals only to detect bots and to improve its bot detection, not to identify or target individuals. See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum (opens in a new tab).

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, such as which pages are viewed, how long visits last, which site referred you and the general type of device and browser you use. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this and reports approximate location, such as city or region, rather than precise location. The reports we see are totals and trends; they don't identify you by name. We don't use Google Analytics for advertising.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the site's host, Cloudflare, receives standard technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure. See Cloudflare's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

Cookies

Our own pages don't set cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies as described above, and Cloudflare's services may store information in your browser to do their work.

Purchases and other websites

Purchases are made on wellspringcomponents.com and are covered by Wellspring Components' own policies. The site also links to other websites, such as articles we reference. We're not responsible for how other websites handle information.

Sharing

We don't sell or rent your information. We share it only with the service providers described above, which handle it to run the site and the form, or when the law requires it.

Children

The site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

You can ask what information we have from an inquiry you sent, and ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us using the details below.
